Our Mercy Library has recently been renovated and refurbished. It is a contemporary learning space that was purpose-built as a flexible learning area that opens out to Fatima Forum for outdoor learning. It provides a space for STEM activities including the use of Robotics (Spheros and Blubots),  parent information sessions and staff professional development. Our library becomes a centre for passive lunchtime activities.

The children enjoy the Book Week activities each year that include visiting authors and a book character parade. The children also enjoy weekly library lessons and book borrowing as well as taking part in the Premier’s Reading Challenge.

Our library provides a social space to meet, collaborate, research, learn, share, and relax. The staff work to develop a reading culture and raise the levels of information literacy across the school by leading students through processes which empower them to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers and skillful, efficient and discerning researchers.

The Oliver library management system, together with the ACEN digital library provide 24/7 access to a wealth of authentic, authoritative, age appropriate resources to specifically meet student and staff needs.
